American Express x Carbone

In celebration of American Express teaming up with Michelin-starred restaurant Carbone, we took over an entire villa for 3 nights during Cannes Festival to host an exclusive experience for Centurion Black Card members. It included a family-style dinner of Carbone’s signature dishes, live music and programming. The familial warmth of Italian-American Carbone combined with Amex’s sleek, black, premium aesthetic was carried through across every detail of the space, from the furniture sourced to the menu design to the vintage Italian postcards.

Guests entered the villa through an illuminated black box and were led to a magical courtyard overlooking the bay of Cannes. After poolside dinner, guests explored the various programming set up throughout the villa – a professional portrait studio, a cinema lounge screening vintage Italian films, and a music room featuring an Italian jazz singer and piano player. Some celebs even came through – Naomi Campbell, Ciara, Kerry Washington and Nas (fave!)
